Opis projekta

Pojava globalizacije dovela je do brze transformacije načina i oblika učenja i obrazovanja te do pojave 'društva znanja' (Kušić, Vrcelj i Klapan, 2015). U takvim okolnostima obrazovanje odraslih dobiva poseban značaj jer tržište rada zahtijeva kontinuirano ažuriranje znanja i vještina da bi određena zemlja (p)ostala konkurentna (Wagner, Kozma, 2005). U posljednjim desetljećima obrazovanje odraslih u središnjem je fokusu gospodarskog razvoja i stoga ne čude različita nastojanja na globalnoj i nacionalnoj razini koja su usmjerena prema podizanju kvalitete i rekonceptualizaciji obrazovanja odraslih (Marzano, Lubkina, Usca, Pigozne, 2015). No unatoč tome, postoje otvorena pitanja čije bi rješavanje pridonijelo unapređenju toga posebno važnog i dinamičnog segmenta obrazovanja. Jedno od takvih pitanja predstavljaju didaktički modeli u obrazovanju odraslih. Iako u obrazovanju odraslih postoje različiti didaktički koncepti i iz njih derivirani modeli i nastavne strategije, još uvijek se u radu s odraslim učenicima koriste koncepti, modeli i nastavne strategije koje su primjerenije za rad s djecom i mladima, što ukazuje na nepoštivanje psiholoških osobina i obrazovnih potreba odraslog učenika. Potreban je drugačiji pristup koji traži rekonceptualizaciju postojećih didaktičkih modela jer organizacija nastave u takvim okolnostima predstavlja jednu od barijera u obrazovanju odraslih (Marzano, Lubkina, Usca i Pigozne, 2015). Projekt će putem kvalitativnih i kvantitativnih istraživačkih metoda istražiti didaktičke modele koji primjenjuju nastavnici koji rade u sustavu obrazovanja odraslih, ispitati njihovu kompetentnost te izraditi smjernice za unapređivanje didaktičkih modela u obrazovanju odraslih, što je ujedno glavni cilj projekta. Time će se svakako unaprijediti praksa obrazovanja odraslih, i to posebice u području primjene azličitih suvremenih didaktičkih modela u radu s odraslima kao i andragoško-didaktičke kompetencije nastavnika u obrazovanju odraslih.

The emergence of globalisation has led to a rapid transformation of the methods and forms of learning and education and to the emergence of a "knowledge society" (Kušić, Vrcelj, Klapan, 2015). In such circumstances, adult education gains special significance because the labour market requires continuous improvement of knowledge and skills in order to keep a particular country competitive (Wagner, Kozma, 2005). In the last few decades, adult education has become the central focus of economic development; therefore, it is not surprising that various efforts on a global and national level are being made, that are aimed at raising the quality of, and re - conceptualising, adult education (Marzano, Lubka, Usca, Pigozne, 2015). Nevertheless, there are still open questions whose resolution would contribute to the improvement of this particularly important and dynamic segment of education. One of those questions is that of didactic models in adult education. Although there are different didactic concepts, and from them have derived models and teaching strategies in adult education, the concepts, models and teaching strategies that are being used are more appropriate for working with children and young people then with adult learners, which indicates non - compliance with the psychological traits and educational needs of adult learners. A different approach is required, that should re - conceptualise the existing didactic models because the class organisation in these circumstances represents one of the barriers to successful adult education (Marzano, Lubka, Usca, Pigozne, 2015). Through qualitative and quantitative research methods, this project will explore the didactic models that are being used by teachers who are working in the adult education system, examine their competence and develop guidelines for enhancing didactic models in adult education, which is also the main goal of the project. This will certainly improve the practice of adult education, particularly in the field of the application of various contemporary didactic models, as well as the andragogic - didactic competences of adult education teachers.
